HOW TO TURN OUR CHOC BREW BARS INTO CAFFEINATED POPS FOR SURVIVAL
(If you’re short on time, read only what’s in bold)
Hey Brew Crew,
Let’s be real for a second. The Easter Bunny has a great PR team, but he takes all the credit while you do all the work.
By 9:00 AM on Easter Sunday, the house is chaos. The kids are vibrating at a frequency only dogs can hear, and you are… well, ready for a nap.
While the small humans are distracted by hollow supermarket eggs, you deserve something with substance. Something that says "I'm celebrating" but also whispers "Here is the energy to survive until bedtime".
Forget Willy Wonka. We’ve got something better: Urban Brew Choc Brew Bars.
These aren't your average servo chocolate bars. We’ve taken high-quality chocolate and dunked actual roasted coffee beans inside.
That means real caffeine. Which means these are strictly Adults Only. (Unless you want your kids awake until Christmas - in which case, go ahead, you brave soul.)
This Easter, we’re taking these bars and turning them into "Grown-Up Brew Pops". It’s a recipe so easy you can do it even before your first coffee of the day.
The "Hide These From The Kids" Brew Pops
These look cute and innocent, like regular Easter treats. That is your camouflage. Inside, they pack that secret coffee bean crunch that belongs strictly to the parents.
What you need:
🍫 3 - 4 Urban Brew Choc Brew Bars (Mix and match Milk and Dark if you’re feeling wild)
🥥 1 tsp Coconut oil (optional, but helps it melt smoothly)
🍭 Lollipop sticks or cute paper straws
🧊 A silicone mould (Easter egg shapes work best, but ice cube trays work in a pinch)
🥜 Toppings: Crushed nuts, fancy sea salt, or whatever crunchy bits you find in the cupboard
The "How-To" (It’s barely a recipe):
1. The Break-Up Smash your Brew Bars into small pieces. It’s therapeutic. Try not to eat too many of the coffee beans during this process 🤐
2. The Meltdown Chuck the pieces (and coconut oil if using) into a microwave-safe bowl. Zap it in 20-second bursts, stirring aggressively in between. Do not burn it - burnt chocolate smells like sadness. You want smooth, glossy, melted goodness.
3. The Pour Spoon the melted magic into your moulds. Tap the mould on the counter a few times to get rid of air bubbles - we want maximum chocolate density here.
4. Stick It Pop your lollipop sticks or straws into the base of the moulds.
5. Make It Sparkle (Optional) While the back is still wet, sprinkle on your toppings. A little sea salt on the Dark Brew Bar pops is a game-changer 🤌
6. The Hard Part (Waiting) Shove them in the fridge or freezer for at least 30 minutes until solid.
The Final Step:
Pop them out. Tell the kids they are "spicy broccoli pops" so they won't ask for one.
